Rimigliano Park
An open, unspoiled beach stretching for kilometres, from Torraccia to San Vincenzo, protected by the beach dunes, as well as a swath of Mediterranean brush and a shady, refreshing pine grove.

Baratti Gulf and Populonia
A protected, unspoiled, seaside nature area with a beach and reefs, plus a docking area for pleasure craft (no fixed structures), all framed by a charming landscape historic and archaeological sites (digs from the Etruscan and Roman periods, the medieval burgh and castle….).

Campiglia Marittima
A well preserved medieval village over which a recently restored castle stands guard.
Nearby are the intriguing digs of the San Silvestro Castle, a medieval site built as a mining facility on a rocky, isolated spur surrounded by Mediterranean brush.

A perfectly preserved medieval burgh with a number of architectural gems of noteworthy historical – artistic importance, including the seat of the municipal government and the Romanesque church of San Giusto outside-the-walls.

San Vincenzo
A seaside tourist town with a small, modern port for pleasure craft and fully equipped beach establishments, plus open, unspoiled beaches that stretch for kilometres to the north, flanked by the wild natural setting of a private reserve.

A small burgh built in a number of different phases between the 1600’s and 1800’s by the Counts of the Gherardesca family, it has remained intact to the present day. The town is entered along the famous road lined by centuries-old cypresses and used for inspiration by the poet Giosuè Carducci.

Commercial and tourist port with boats to the Island of Elba, the Tuscan archipelago and Sardinia. The historic town centre dates back to the Middle Ages and it also boasts an Archaeological Museum
